I didn't take a proper camera to Glastonbury -- I bought three disposable film cameras, one with a flash, two without. A bad workman always blames his tools, and I'm no exception -- disposable cameras take rubbish pictures, and the evidence is here.
In case anyone's interested, I got the pictures developed by TriplePrint, including transfer to CD. It's OK -- it took a while, but the CD comes with the images in nice standard JPEG format, at a variety of resolutions, the second highest of which are the original source for the pictures I'm using here (I subsequently shrinked them down to 480x320 because they're not good enough pictures to waste too much server space on). Things are looking a little bit better since I compensated by the overexposure by doing a gamma correction on all the pictures.
Sights seen while wandering around.
A pretty large extended family this year, and a very civilised camp thanks to the remarkable contruction material that is Duck Tape.
This 50-odd piece Japanese jazz orchestra opened to festival on the Friday afternoon at the Pyramid stage, and they were something else. These pictures are from their second set, in the evening on the Jazz World stage. Even from the second row, the wide angle of the disposable cameras means it was impossible to get any decent close-ups.
Not many pictures of this (other than Shibusashirazu) because it's not a very photogenic activity...
